Looking for a Wedding venue in and around Sheffield? Here are a few of my favourites that I’ve documented weddings at over the years. Be it, the ceremony, the reception or both. It’s by no way an extensive list, I certainly haven’t shot everywhere! So please don’t be offended if I’ve missed you out. However, if you do run a venue or have been to an awesome wedding, please put a link in the comments to share ideas with future married couples to be.
I covered weddings here quite a bit when I was starting out, then didn’t for a while and then the last couple of years have been back quite a few times and I love it. It’s an old building with a bit of character and the ceremony rooms are nice and bright, however, as a photographer; get me outside! I love shooting in the city centre environment and if you plan to have your wedding when the Tramlines festival is on, it just adds to the fun!
It’s like a few venues all rolled into one, depending on which part you use, but possibly the main attraction is the quaint grounds and every wedding I’ve covered here has run like clock work.
Tucked away, not that well know yet, but lovely grounds in a fairly central location, spacious reception rooms and very friendly atmosphere.
Cool, urban venue with an industrial edge. Straight lines and shapes for photography and, yep, it’s just very cool….!
Lovely, thats the only way to describe the building and grounds. I covered 3 weddings here in 2016 and each was great, get a live band in the low ceilinged reception room and it rocks!
Tucked away just off the M1, could be perfect if your guests are coming to stay from up and down the country with a few big hotels close by too. It’s a big barn with beautiful roof beams and tones of character.
